Apeiara Capoeira is one branch from a capoeira tree. The groups of capoeira are known by the style and unique approach to the art of capoeira, Apeiara comes from a lineage of capoeira that respects and practices both style of the art, "Angola" and "Regional" and from two beautiful and strong capoeira family's. One, Cordao de Ouro Capoeira lead by the Capoeira legend "Mestre Suassuna" who happen to be Mestre Casquinha capoeira "godfather", and also Barracao da Capoeira lead by Mestre Jose Antonio who is a direct student of Mestre Suassuna and direct teacher of Mestre Casquinha and also his mentor in the world of capoeira.

Mestre Casquinha and Capoeira were a great influence on my life becoming part of my daily routine, and in 2016, with the help and support of my Mestre I opened up a kids class, ages 7-12 ,which is now carried out @ our Apeiara Capoeira Academy
